This digital database consists of a small sample of African Ethnographic Objects selected from the Oberlin College Ethnographic Collection. The OCEC consists of approximately 1600 objects donated to the Oberlin College Museum by alumni and friends during the 19th and early 20th centuries. This selection represents some of the most frequently occurring objects in the collection, and donations from the collection’s most prominent missionary donors.
