The Changing Nature of Libraries

This presentation on electronic resources was part of a workshop for technical services staff addressing the changing nature of thier field.

New responsibilities and digital collections are just part of changes facing libraries today.  The Next Generation Library grant focused on the larger picture of how a small liberal arts college library can stay relevant in today's world of rapid, continual change.  Using digital collections as a starting place we began discussions about larger changes to the focus and organization of libraries to help staff understand and accept the transformations taking place in libraries today.
